FOODS TO AVOID
Yeast containing food:
Bread, bread crumbs, pita bread, pizza, other backed products, sour dough bread, vegetable and meat extracts (Marmite, Oxo, Bovril), medication or vitamin preparations.
Nuts, peanuts, peanut butter, not freshly cracked mushrooms, dried products, e.g. dried fruit, biltong, droewors, (also dried fruit and nuts in muesli), smoked or cured meat or cured fish.
Vinegar and vinegar containing products (pickles, olives, salad dressing, mayonnaise), soya and Worchester sauce, cider, ginger beer, beer, wine, other alcohol)
Sugars, molasses, honey, malt, syrup, sweets, chocolates, ice cream, desserts, cold drinks, canned fruit, fructose, lactose, maltose, sucrose, dextrose, artificial sweetener, flavoured waters.
High GI Foods
Dairy products (only for a limited period), wheat, alcohol, caffeine (chocolate, coffee, and regular tea), preservatives and colorants. (MSG),hot spices and curries, and diet and light products.
